Chess can take you to a different world where you are in control of a vast army, charged with the task of tactically maneuvering your pikemen and horsemen towards the enemy king avoiding traps and ambushes. On the way many soldiers may perish. Sometimes it might be necessary to sacrifice the castles or even the all-powerful queen in order to trap the enemy monarch. Playing chess is like riding a bike, it is very easy to learn, takes forever to completely master, and is hard to forget how to do. I have played chess for over 10 years now, and I have been playing competitively since freshman year of high school. I have been programming in Java for nearly two years, and throughout that time, I have been working on this game.
